Is SETI@home Down? A checklist :

1. Could it be SETI@home's weekly 3-5 hours long scheduled Tuesday Maintenance Outage ?
2. Could it be a problem with your ISP or with your own equipments ?

5. Is UC Berkeley having network problems or maintenance ? http://systemstatus.berkeley.edu/
6. Howl at the Moon and/or Burn your hair (optional).

9. A thread (if accessible) where  usually the first signs of panic appear : The Server Issues / Outages Thread - Panic Mode On! ... which is now in its 118th session https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=84983 (the 119th is around the corner)...

13. If you're desperate enough, and if the previous suggestions didn't quite work, why not rely on Richard's Maneuver ? Go to the local bar until things eventually settle down one way or the other.
